How I can migrate an email list from AWeber to ConvertKit?
How I can migrate an email list from AWeber to ConvertKit?
As a freelancer, there will be basic programs that you will have to master. One of them is the email service provider (ESP). Now, there are many ESP programs out there:
ConvertKit
MailChimp
Constant contact
Aweber
Active campaign
Mailerlite
Drip
MadMimi
InfusionSoft
1SC
And honestly, that's a pretty short list. Because there are many, many more of them.
The most used today are MailChimp, ActiveCampaign, Aweber, InfusionSoft, and ConvertKit.
Most people start with a free MailChimp account. It is the most used free account by anyone. But once an account reaches a certain number of subscribers, they surpass the free account and have to switch to a paid account. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this strategy. But at some point, they will need a better option. MailChimp is focused on the list rather than on the subscriber, which means that if people are on multiple lists, they are charged for these subscribers several times.
But the piece of resistance is ... delivery. MailChimp emails are full of HTML, links, images, etc. Because they all love those nice emails, right? Gmail, Yahoo, and other email servers have eliminated spam, junk, and promotional emails. And that's how they classify those "nice" emails that everyone is in love with.
