You have no one but you to make this happen (Are you going through life complaining about things)

Are you going through life complaining about things?

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stop complaining and relive?

I recently had some surprising ideas on this subject of complaints, and it all started during my preparations for the London Marathon in April.

As some of you know, I recently participated in the London Marathon to help young children like the baby India and to help my charity WellChild.

Thanks again to all of you who sponsored me for this cause: I am enjoying the gratitude for your generosity and support.

Keep in mind that I felt your support and best wishes at each step of the path:   -).

I walked all the way in 7 hours and 28 minutes, and it was a memorable day and that changed my life. I live my life for days like this!

I tell all my friends and I will also tell everyone: do whatever it takes to participate in the London Marathon at least once in our life.

It will be one of the best days of your life!

Well, to begin with, I felt that I was part of something much bigger than me.

While we were all waiting at the starting line in our various starting pens, the excitement and the buzzing were electric.

I felt a little nervous, after all, the superheroes also get nervous.   Maybe just for a change, I should take off the superman cape and go back to being human again.

I felt very alive and very present for all those around me.   It was incredible to think that almost all the participants participated to raise funds and raise awareness about the chosen cause.

So the day had a much greater meaning and it was not just about running or walking through some of the most picturesque parts of London.

And when we got to the starting line, it was like unleashing a force of nature and it was a torrent of humanity that was united by a common cause.

A cause much greater than any other cause that single individuals can aspire to in our daily lives.

What I also got was the incredible sense of camaraderie among the runners: we were united not only to conquer the 26 miles of the marathon course, if not also to create a better world.

It was a powerful combination of achieving something personally and also remembering the greatest good that we are all capable of achieving.

What was equally powerful was the breath we received from the spectators.   That was what helped me walk 26 miles, although once I started, nothing would stop me from reaching the finish line!

What I also got was the unity with me and the thousands of spectators who not only encouraged me and the others but also donated changes to my collection.

As I walked and walked and walked that day, I had to reflect and think a lot about the day and why it was so special.   Since I was walking, I was mostly alone during the 26-mile route and that's a lot of time for think:   -).

I felt in the area and was completely present most of the time.   I realized that any great effort has such a presence and commitment to the greater cause and with a final goal.

And then I realized that we all go through life complaining about our fate, instead of fully appreciating everything we have.

At the starting line, there were people around me who had overcome various personal challenges or were running in memory of a loved one they had lost or were participating for the chosen cause or charity.

There was a guy in a tiger suit that seemed to weigh a ton, imagine running 26 miles on that!   There was also a gorilla and much other elegant attire, all for a more important cause.

A cause bigger than you and me.

We go through life complaining about others and what they did to us, or about what they did not do for us.

We go through life feeling hard, and we believe that others have done it for us, including "god".

We complain about insignificant things like weather, traffic and train delays.

And we go through life trapped in our little stories, while life is happening to us.

However, when I was on the marathon route, I not only made myself present to the futility of our complaints but, more importantly, I was aware of the majesty and splendor of this thing we call life.

There I was in the midst of humanity at its best, all struggling together for a common and greater cause, and striving to make the world a better place through countless people: the participants and the spectators who encourage the participants.

And then I wondered what it would be like to capture that pure energy, that immense kindness and that attitude of being able to do?

Our world would be transformed overnight!

As I work on the next phase of my own growth and development of my business, I plan to capture this energy and create resources to help this happen for you and for others.   More details in the coming weeks.

What you get once you stop complaining is grace, ease, and joy in life.

Of course, it is important to "complain" about some things.   Is well and I think it is absolutely necessary to take a stand for something in your life, as Gandhi did when he took a stand for the end of oppression in India.

That's a different kind of complaint when you defend something bigger than yourself.   Then you should just remember to feel the fear and change the world anyway.

Starting today, begin to know all your complaints in life, and then ask yourself if it really matters.

And, please, immediately answer my simple one-page survey and let me know what your number one complaint in life is.

As you focus more on minimizing their complaints and maximize your gratitude and enthusiasm for life, you are likely to feel a difference in your stress levels and your level of satisfaction with life in general. Others will notice and comment if you make significant changes.   Ultimately, your life is what you do and these strategies can help you make it more serene.
