Hardwood floors (not to be confused with "hardwood") are a set of flooring materials that include concrete or cement, ceramic tiles, glass tiles, and natural stone products.

Ceramic tiles are clay products that are formed in thin tiles and fired.   Ceramic tiles are placed in beds of mortar or mastic with joints between dried tiles. Kinds of ceramic tiles include quarry tile, porcelain, and porcelain.

Precast tiles are also available or are constructed using cement bonding material.

Stone porcelain can be used instead of natural stone.   Is a ceramic material such as tile?   However, usually 20 mm (0.79 inches) thick boxes often come in 60 cm (24 inches).

Cork floors are floor materials made of by-products of oak cork.   The cork flooring is environmentally friendly because the bark of the oak tree cork is stripped from nine to ten years and does not damage the tree.   Cork floors come in both tiles and slabs, and can have a glue or glue-less installation.
